The women’s house on University Ave

Under the patronage of Mary, our Model and Mother, the Kappa Gamma Zeta women’s house strives to discover and foster the call of women to be daughters, brides, and friends of God within His Family, the Church.

Over the years, the St. Thomas Aquinas Newman Center at the University of the North Dakota hoped to purchase a residence for its Catholic students. This vision became a reality when the Newman House officially opened its doors for the fall semester of 2008. Along with this vision was the inclusion of a Chapel containing the Real Presence of Jesus Christ. October 2011 marked the fulfillment of this dream. The women are now able to pray Morning prayer, Night prayer, and Mass in Communion with one another and Jesus Christ Himself! In 2013, the house was named the Kappa Gamma Zeta house, Catholic Women of Life.
