Last October we averaged 389 people at Mass, this October we averaged 464 people at Mass, mostly new students!

It was great having Bishop Folda visit on Oct. 8, along with all the other events that happened this last month…see pics below.

We are gearing up for Giving Tuesday - December 2nd!Find more details below. Early giving starts Nov. 17. We have a match of $20,000!

October Happenings

Bishop’s Visit

We were blessed to have Bishop Folda visit on Oct. 8 for an Operation Andrew Dinner, followed by Mass and then a Cereal Bar/Game Night.

Student Board

Our Student Board has been working hard to plan various events to help students that come to the Newman Center find their Home away from home.

SEEK Parties

Our FOCUS Missionaries have been working hard to recruit students to come to SEEK in Columbus, OH this year. Their Glow and Casino Parties were dynamite!

Halloween Party

Creative costumes and trivia with prizes and treats led to lots of smiles during our Halloween Party.

Early giving begins on Nov. 17th!

This year, the Newman Center is raising funds to support having FOCUS (Fellowship of Catholic University Students) on campus here at UND.

Our FOCUS missionaries engage with students at Newman, leading them into a personal encounter with Christ.

Having 5 FOCUS missionaries on campus costs the Newman Center $80,000/year…we are aiming to raise half of that, $40,000, on Giving Tuesday!
