We’ve had high attendance at all of our events so far this year, certainly the most I’ve seen in my 3 years here.

September Happenings

A smattering of events

As mentioned above, we’ve had a lot of students showing up for the various events we’ve been putting on.

Men’s and Women’s Nights

After some talks on sisterhood and brotherhood, our students had some fun…the ladies enjoyed various dips and the men played capture the flag in the quad.

Homecoming Parade

“Pope Leo” was gracious enough to spend some time with us handing out candy and the Newman Center’s schedule for Sacraments during the Homecoming Parade.

This year, the Newman Center is raising funds to support having FOCUS (Fellowship of Catholic University Students) on campus here at UND.

Our FOCUS missionaries engage with students at Newman, leading them into a personal encounter with Christ.

Having 5 FOCUS missionaries on campus costs the Newman Center $80,000/year…we are aiming to raise half of that, $40,000, on Giving Tuesday!
