Newman is a busy place these days!Our first weekend Mass count for October this year was our biggest since 2016 with 514 at Mass. And, we are ahead of last year in students who have been to at least one Bible study, at 302!
There have been lots of activities going on since the beginning of school, check those pics out below!
Also, around the beginning of August, we found out Newman’s roof was leaking, in multiple areas (see video below). It’ll cost somewhere in the neighborhood of $160,000 to replace the shingles, some of the sheathing, fascia, soffit and gutters, along with the flat roof over the garage, which is also leaking. Thankfully, because of your generosity, we have enough in savings to cover the cost!
There will be some other big projects coming down the pike as well. More info on that once the roof is fixed.
