What do you love about the Newman Center?

The supportive community!”

What is your best memory / experience of the Newman Center?

I had the opportunity to be a part of the Homecoming parade float that the Newman Center sponsored, featuring Noah's Ark. Handing out snacks to the students on the side and telling them about Newman was a great experience!

O.C.I.A. (formerly R.C.I.A.)                Rite of Acceptance and Welcome

On December 3rd Earl Burnett and Spencer Mau were formally accepted as Catechumens looking to join the Catholic Church, and Hayley Erickson formally became a Candidate for being welcomed into full communion with the Catholic Church.  Another student, Ben Kakac, couldn’t be there due to National Guard duty and another student, Mason Gravett just decided to join the O.C.I.A. process, both Candidates seeking to be welcomed into full communion with the Catholic Church.

Please keep these students in your prayers during their time of preparation before the Easter Vigil!

FOCUS SEEK Conference 2024

We took over 50 students to the FOCUS SEEK Conference in St. Louis this year!  Some beautiful graces happened for our students that were there.  Click on the header above or this link to see more pics.

100th Anniversary - 1924-2024

He recently had this to say about both Newman Centers in our Diocese:

Both of these campus parishes are spiritual homes for students, staff, and families at the universities. They are bright beacons in our diocese where the gift of faith is lived and handed on to young adults. They offer a faith community and a home away from home to young people who are often far away from their own families and parishes.

Save the Date…we want 100 students            and 100 alumni to ride in this years Bike Race!

Pray about helping us with sustained giving.

Grant, O merciful God
that I may ardently desire,
prudently examine, truthfully acknowledge,
and perfectly accomplish
all that is pleasing to you,
for the praise and glory of
your Name.
Amen.
