You are encouraged to register before Noon on Wednesday, APRIL 22Nd

Register now for this exciting annual competition between the UND & NDSU Newman Centers
on the last Saturday of april!

Race route

Normally, the race route follows the 25 miles from the north side of Hillsboro North Dakota to Caledonia and back and features two rest stops along the route.

This year, in addition to our group race, those who cannot join us in Hillboro can log individual rides on Strava. If you don’t have Strava, you can submit a max of 25 miles through a web form in April.

You may log your miles, and have them contribute with our annual competition with NDSU on Strava or our website. Any miles, whether it be 1, 5 or 25 or more, can count. You can do your miles on an indoor or outdoor bike on April 24-25.

If you fund-raise more than $250 for the Bike Race your registration fee is waved.

Fundraising is easy online with the Just Giving platform.

If you don’t fund raise, an entry fee of $30 is required at registration to cover the cost of the event jersey, and managing the event.

RACE Weekend schedule

Friday, April 24, 2026

5:30 pm - 7:30 pm - Spaghetti Dinner, Bike Clinic and Register at Newman Center in Social Hall

• register, pay $30 registration fee, receive t-shirt and race number (visible on their front when they cross the finish line)

Saturday, April 25, 2026
In-Person Race:

7:30 am – Arrive at Newman if Riding the Bus

• No Saturday morning breakfast available this year at the Newman Center

8:00 am - Have bikes loaded onto semi/moving truck

8:15 am - Depart Newman Center via bus and carpools for St. Rose of Lima, 503 3rd St. SE, Hillsboro, ND

9:00 am - Unload bus and cars at St. Rose of Lima and prepare for race (register for race number and t-shirt pickup for those coming from out of town)

9:40 am - Depart St. Rose of Lima on bikes for starting line on the north side of Hillsboro

10:00 am - Race begins with NDSU in Hillsboro, 26 miles to Caledonia and back

Remote Riders: You may ride any ride where you are at from 6 am Friday, April 24th through 12 pm Saturday, April 25th and track on Strava.

All Riders will Receive
a 2026 Bike Race T-shirt

• THOSE WHO ARE NOT RIDING IN HILLSBORO WILL RECEIVE THEIR t-shirt IN THE MAIL

• t-shirts will be mailed to REMOTE Riders in early May
